"So that was a fucking lie."
~ Tyler "Tyler, The Creator" Okonma, 2014

I know what I said in July about un-dying but then shit hit the fan. Dropped the ball on my label and let myself go in terms of a lot of personal care.
I am back though :3

So following another mistake at work, my boss / company owner had the final straw essentially and let me go. Took my tools and stuff home and wished him well. Threw me for a loop as to what to do with life as I saw myself staying there for a while assuming I improved and stopped making mistakes, so much so I came out to other workers, one of which was a red-leaning middle-aged man which took some courage for someone boymoding before any sort of transition start.
One word of advice he gave me though is that my shortcomings were the transition from computer to machine. I'd kick ass breaking out electrodes on Cimatron (CAM/CAD software) but when it came to running machines like a 3-axis graphite machine or a sinker EDM. Don't get me wrong! I thoroughly ennjoyed them but I made too many small errors to be forgiven. With the owner saying I was good with the digital design part, I figured engineering would be down my alley

SO!!!! what's the updates? Well let's go in order. Following the "being fired" thing and the ""advice"" given I'm now pursuing an associates (likely later to transfer to a bachelors) at CT State Community College, though I got into the school late because when uploading a paper, my transcript dissapeared and I had lost my diploma. So I only started on Sep 12th, a far cry from the Aug 27th classes started. Because of that I've been super stressed with learning how to study in a college setting (especially with online, unpaced, no-contact classes) that I've continued falling short on obligations. - Starting around January, I'll have more than 2 classes, and they'll hopefully be coordingated and I can get back into the swing of what a school should feel like!
The reason it took so long to get paperwork sorted out is.... well I was on Sanibel Island for a few days with family, and they requested additional papers during then. Since we wouldn't've flewn home for a few days, I just had to wait it out. I enjoyed my stay there, and then my mother an I (who left early) parted ways at Baltimore Airport and she went home for the papers (and to prepare for work) and I visited my girlfriend Sarah "velamy" in her hometown Durham! Great place but I uploaded the paperwork through my phone. That somehow broke everything and my transcript went POOF away. My school refused to give me a copy of either my HST or HSD so I had to wait to get home, to which it took nearly a week and a half to finally get it situated. I'm glad I'm in and glad I got some classes in for this semester.
Speaking of Durham, and North Carolina in general, I had a great time there, would've gotten its own blog if it wasnt for the next point. Anyways, visiting her local park and Sarah's favorite arcade/store/hangout was a blast and I need to return when I can.

Now for the elephant in the room, or lack thereof. I got appendicitis! In NC too, which meant a lot of unfamiliarity and a lot of Sarah (who cant drive) finding ways to get my pained ass from A to B, .... to C ......... to D. Yeah that right! It took four events to get me out of my misery. We first tried teledoc but my account was fucked up, so we went to a nearbye urgent care who said my liver was likely being fucked by my gall bladder and I need a CT scan. Well, we went to a place for the scan, got IV-ed with painkillers and a blanket, had every vein in my body pumped with saline and x-ray fluid (felt like i was pissing) and waited for a radiologist for hours. PA came in and said I likely had appendicitis, so we FINALLY were driven to a hostpital where I got a consultation, explained how appendicitis happens and how the surgery (laparoscopic appendectomy, got a cute 3 or 4 scars nowhere near the appendix) would work. I was in and out of there within a few hours and spent time recovering, where the most exertion I did was a Maimai round (where i died after) and a walk in Sarah's namesake the Duke Gardens. Struggle of a vacation but I got through it and am pretty much recovered save for not poking at the scars and not stretiching too high. I then got home and was given a chest cold further delaying everything.

So, that's a lot right? No wonder I've dropped the ball. What's next? Uhhh.. well I need to finish my CDr box set I mentioned on the last blog, and probably get to learning python, drawing, and maybe starting to interview some indie artists right here on the site (i have a few in mind that'd be cool with it). Until then though, feel free to reach out and seeya next blog :3

go back?
